Undulation
⦁
Undulation ⦁
Surrender to the unfolding.
Life moves. So do we.
Undulation is the rhythm of water. Rising. Falling.
Never still. Never stuck. Always moving.
I have just been laid off. It is a strange feeling.
It hurt more because deep down, I had already felt disconnected.
Their values no longer matched mine.
And I had already quietly asked the universe for a change.
This year, for the first time, I wanted to let go of control.
I asked only for flow. To trust the bigger plan waiting for me.
Life answered. Not gently, but perfectly.
I was laid off, just when I thought I had found stability.
Now I am sitting inside the hard part.
Fighting the voice that calls it failure.
Fighting the fear of not knowing what comes next.
I know that down always leads back up.
That surrender is not giving up. It is giving in.
It is trusting the wave to carry me somewhere new.
This piece is made in that space.
In the low curve before the next rise.
A reminder that life moves in undulations.
And I move with it.
Through this undulation.
